The “little gray cells” behind this project belong to a writer, translator, people connector, and digital nomad currently based in scenic southern Bavaria. She goes by many names, all starting with the letter A.
She is fascinated by nature, human and otherwise, swears by the medicine of love, and likes to walk through the world in quiet contemplation.
Born and raised under one of Europe’s most atrocious totalitarian regimes, I dreamed of spreading my wings and flying far away. After a degree in International Business, I plodded through graduate Economics in the United States, went on to study Marketing and Intercultural Rhetoric in Germany, got my BA in English at the University of London, and crowned it all with a Certificate of Advanced Creative Writing from Oxford and an MA in Creative Writing and Wellbeing from Teeside University.
For the past two decades, I’ve lived off my love of language: translating, teaching, and consulting on communication projects for iconic brands, international organizations, and local publishers before taking a break from computer screens to find a new breathing space in mindfulness.
I’ve circled around the world to discover that there’s only two places my soul can call home: the white page (on which thinking and feeling imprint their troubled tango) and the fabulous mountain trails of my native Romania.
